1. What This Program Is
This is a Life360 loyalty program under which eligible participants earn points, called “Swircles,” for taking certain actions in the Life360 app, and may redeem accumulated Swircles for rewards Life360 makes available from time to time (the “Program”). These Terms and Conditions (“Program Terms”) govern participation in the Program and are in addition to, and do not replace, the Life360 Terms of Service and Life360 Privacy Policy, both of which continue to apply to your use of the Life360 app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to earn or redeem Swircles. You must be a member of a Life360 Circle with an active Life360 account in good standing. The Program is currently available only to participants located in the United States. Life360 may expand, limit, or vary the Program by country or region, and features described in these Program Terms may not be available in all markets. If you are a minor (age 13–17) added to a Circle by a parent or legal guardian who holds the Life360 account, that parent or legal guardian is responsible for your participation and, by keeping you enrolled in the Circle, authorizes and agrees to these Program Terms on your behalf. Life360 employees, and anyone Life360 identifies as ineligible in its sole discretion, may be excluded from participation.
3. Enrollment; How These Terms Apply
Eligible users are automatically enrolled in the Program; no separate sign-up is required. By remaining enrolled and/or earning Swircles after these Program Terms are made available to you, you agree to be bound by them. Before redeeming your first Reward, you will be asked to affirmatively confirm your acceptance of these Program Terms. You may opt out of the Program at any time using the opt-out link in Program communications. Opting out ends your participation in the Program: it stops future Swircles accrual and results in forfeiture of any unredeemed Swircles balance. You will be asked to confirm you understand this before your opt-out is processed. Opting out of the Program is separate from your other Life360 communication preferences and does not unsubscribe you from other Life360 marketing communications.
4. Earning Swircles
Life360 will publish, from time to time, the list of actions that earn Swircles and the number of Swircles awarded for each (an “Earn Action”). The list and point values may change at any time without notice. Swircles are awarded per Earn Action at a fixed rate. Life360 reserves the right to impose limits on the number of Swircles a participant may earn in any period. Swircles are generally credited shortly after Life360 confirms completion of the applicable Earn Action; Life360 does not guarantee immediate crediting and will not credit Swircles for actions it cannot verify. One Earn Action is opting in to receive marketing emails and/or SMS from Life360; this Earn Action is available only to the Life360 account holder, not to minor Circle members. Life360 may decline to award, or may reverse, Swircles for activity it determines in its reasonable discretion to be fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the intent of the Program.
5. Your Swircles Balance
Swircles have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be sold, purchased, transferred, or assigned, including between members of the same Circle. Life360 tracks one Swircles balance per individual participant, not per Circle or per account. Swircles do not currently expire; Life360 reserves the right to introduce an expiration policy for Swircles earned after the effective date of any such change, with advance notice. Your Swircles balance is not a bank or deposit account and is not insured.
6. Redeeming Swircles
You may redeem accumulated Swircles for rewards Life360 makes available from time to time (each, a “Reward”). Available Rewards, their Swircles cost, and any redemption limits will be described where Rewards are offered and may change at any time. Redemption follows a “spend” model: the applicable Swircles amount is deducted from your balance upon redemption. Rewards are currently digital only. If Life360 offers a sweepstakes-style Reward, that Reward will be governed by separate official rules, controlling in the event of any conflict with these Program Terms, including a no-purchase/no-Swircles method of entry as required by law. Life360 does not guarantee the availability of any specific Reward and may substitute a Reward of comparable value. You are solely responsible for any tax consequences of Rewards you receive; Rewards are not exchangeable for cash except where Life360 expressly states otherwise.
7. Program Changes, Suspension, and Termination
Life360 may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, or any part of it, at any time, with or without notice. If Life360 terminates the Program entirely, participants will have 30 days from the termination notice to redeem any unredeemed Swircles balance before it is forfeited, except where prohibited by law.
8. Account Changes; Forfeiture
If your Life360 account is canceled or closed, your Swircles balance is forfeited as of the cancellation date. Life360 may reduce, freeze, or eliminate your Swircles balance, and may suspend or terminate your participation, if it determines in its reasonable discretion that you earned Swircles through fraud, abuse, a violation of these Program Terms or the Life360 Terms of Service, or activity inconsistent with the intended use of the Program. Downgrading your subscription tier does not affect your Swircles balance.
9. Relationship to Other Life360 Policies; Privacy
Your use of the Life360 app, including participation in the Program, remains subject to the Life360 Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Participation in the Program may be considered a financial incentive under the CCPA/CPRA; please review our Privacy Policy for more information, including how to withdraw.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE PROGRAM AND ANY REWARDS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFE360’S LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE SWIRCLES OR REWARD AT ISSUE. Nothing in these Program Terms limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
11. General
These Program Terms incorporate by reference the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions of the Life360 Terms of Service. If any provision of these Program Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Questions about the Program can be directed to [Life360 support contact].
