Thank you for being part of the Life360 community. Life360 exists to help people stay connected to the people, pets, and things they care about most. To help create a safe, respectful, and trustworthy experience for everyone, we ask all members to follow the Life360 Community Guidelines and Content Moderation Policy (“Policy”). See below for details on what this means to us. Terms not defined here have the meanings ascribed to them in Life360’s Terms of Service.
This Policy details what content and behavior is acceptable within the Life360 community. This Policy covers “Content”, which is user generated content that originates from or on behalf of members of our community, on the Life360 platform (including Member Content as defined in our Terms of Service).
How to Report
If you see Content that you believe is in violation of our policies (as outlined below), please flag it with our in-app moderation button. You can report problematic Content by clicking a Member’s profile picture, then clicking on the three dots icon in the upper right-hand corner and then clicking “Report Abuse” and following the on-screen prompts. We use your reporting to help prevent abuse and identify any problematic Content. Please act responsibly and only use the reporting tools for their intended purposes. In addition, as part of providing the Services, Life360 may use automated abuse detection mechanisms designed to detect harmful Content before it is published, including related to potential violations of this Policy and the Terms of Service.
Enforcement
If you violate our Policy or Terms of Service, it is up to Life360 in its sole discretion as to what action we may take, and we may do so with or without notice to the violating party. Life360 may limit the visibility of the Content, or remove it entirely. If you repeatedly violate our Policy, or violate our policy in an egregious manner, we may suspend or terminate your account, with or without further notice. If we terminate your account, we will notify you and it is your responsibility to cancel your subscription, if applicable. If your membership was terminated as a result of your violation of this Policy, your right to use the Service under any other Member name or profile is revoked. If you believe there was an error made, feel free to submit an appeal at appeals@life360.com.
Life360 takes each report seriously and will make reasonable efforts to resolve reports in a timely manner. Life360, in its sole discretion, will determine whether a violation has occurred and whether enforcement of this Policy is required. While we will not automatically be able to provide an individual response to every report, please know that each submission is reviewed by our team.
