Life360, Inc. (“Life360,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Services to do the same.
We have adopted this Copyright Policy (DMCA) (the “Policy”) in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This Policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement and how to submit a notice or counter-notice. Claims relating to other intellectual property rights are addressed separately below.
This Policy applies to all Life360 products and services, including products and services offered through Life360 subsidiaries as well as advertising services operated under the Nativo brand.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes an infringement of your rights, you may submit a written notification to our designated agent.
The fastest and easiest way to send a DMCA report of copyright infringement to our designated agent is to send an email to: dmca@life360.com.
To be complete and effective, your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the content claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (for example, a URL or account identifier such as an email address).
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address. If you are filing a notice on behalf of an entity, please also provide the entity’s name along with your job title, job position, or role with the entity.
- The following statements:
- “I have a good faith belief that use of the materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner of the intellectual property rights therein, its agent or the law.”
- “The information in this notice is accurate.”
- “I state under penalty of perjury that I am the owner, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed.”
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
When we receive a notice of claimed infringement, we review it and take action as appropriate, which may include removing or disabling access to the content and notifying the person or entity who posted it. Please be advised that we may provide your name, contact information, and the contents of your notice to the person or entity who posted the content you are reporting.
If you wish to reach our designated agent through other (and slower) methods, you can reach us at:

Phone: 310.658.5221
Email: dmca@life360.com
2. Counter-Notices
If you’ve received a notification from Life360 that content has been removed for a copyright complaint, it means we received a notice pursuant to the DMCA alleging that the content infringed a copyright right. If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent.
Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- Location information of the material before it was taken down, such as a URL or account identifier such as an email address.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address. If you are filing a counter-notice on behalf of an entity, please also provide the entity’s name along with your job title, job position, or role with the entity.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Life360 may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person or entity who provided the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
Life360 has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, users or account holders who are repeat infringers. We may also suspend or restrict access to the Services, remove content across our Services, or take other actions as appropriate under our Terms of Service. This Policy applies across all Life360-operated services, including Life360, Tile, Jiobit, and Nativo.
4. Misuse of This Process
Please be aware that under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability. We reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to abuse of this process.
5. Other Intellectual Property Claims
This Policy applies to claims of copyright infringement under the DMCA.
If you believe that content available through the Services violates other intellectual property rights, such as trademark rights, you may submit a notice using the contact information provided above. Please include sufficient information to allow us to understand and evaluate your claim.
Life360 will review such notices and take action as we determine appropriate in accordance with applicable law and our Terms of Service. Life360 does not undertake any obligation to take any particular action in response to such notices.
